Yes. Our Costa Rican family company is originally from Curubandé, and we know the weather in Guanacaste better than anyone. Although it rains during the rainy season, showers are usually short — often lasting less than an hour.
We only operate the tour when conditions are safe. If the weather allows it, we run the adventure normally. If not, we cancel, reschedule, or refund, depending on what works best for you.

Yes, ages 8+ with adult supervision. If you have children under 8 years old, we recommend booking a private tour.
- Comfortable clothes (sports and swimsuit) and extra clothes to change.
- Sports tennis, shoes with good grip or serrated sandals. (Without flip-flops).
- Mosquito repellent (preferably ORGANIC).
- Bottled water (small).
- Towels for after the tour.
- Extra shoes or sandals to change the wet ones for the dry ones.

Yes, spots fill quickly—especially weekends.
This waterfall can only be accessed by hiring a guide. The reason is very simple, the waterfall is not easy to find. On the way you have to cross rivers, caves and we also have to swim. You will always have at least one or two guides at your side at all times during the walk.

You need a moderate physical condition, as some parts of the trail require hiking through rocks, water, and uneven terrain. Most travelers can complete the tour comfortably, but it’s important to feel confident walking for a few hours.
Yes. Elder travelers can join the tour as long as they feel comfortable walking for a few hours and navigating rocks, water, and uneven terrain. We recommend the tour for active seniors who enjoy outdoor activities and feel confident with moderate physical effort.
